How old is my revolver?
I inherited this from my grandfather, my best guess is that it was manufactured between 1963 and 1968.
Hand ejector?
Model 19-4
Visible Hammer
Serial 40KXXXX
.357 Magnum

A 40Kxxxx serial number was most likely manufactured in late 1978 or early 1979

All the 40K numbers were assigned in 1978. Your Model 19-4 could have shipped that year or the next.
Serial numbers for 1963-1968 ran from K515479 to about K848781. None of the K series serial numbers in that period had any digits before the letter.
In 1963, the Combat Magnum was still the Model 19-2. By 1968, it was a Model 19-3. The dash four did not come along until 1977.

That is a nice looking Combat Magnum that you inherited. It's wearing what probably are its original target stocks. Congratulations.

Welcome. That's a beauty, with a superb set of "Football Targets" (more formally known as: "Target Stocks with the Extractor Cutout"). It is definitely a hand ejector.
The four inch barrel was far more common on these, so I think the six inch version may be a bit of a sleeper (ie, since it is more rare, some day they will sell for a higher price.)
