Found a model 36 in a 3 inch, all factory wood and I. Need of a cleaning job.greet looking gun and in great shape. Looking for a date S # j398394. Looking for a date please.

Amazing. That's the same gun I bought my wife back in 1978. She kept it in her dresser drawer for 35 years. A few years ago I replaced it for her. Now I have a LNIB M36 and she has a new Smith air weight. She carries the new one everywhere because it's so light. . .never would carry the M36 because it was too heavy. Turned out good all the way around.
