Looks to me like 1974. That's as close as I can see in the Standard Catalog of S&W.

You live a little too far away from me to take your 67 on a date!

And I concur with GerSan69 as to the shipping date according to the SCSW. Maybe the Kernel will see your post and chime up. He has aa pretty extensive database on S&W revolvers and their manufacture dates and can get you a closer ship date than the year.
