model #under yoke is 10-8. Ser. #AYV7155. Looking for the age.

Don't have exact but 1977 for the #8 variation.

The triple alpha serial numbers are difficult to nail down. Based on extrapolation from the serial number ranges in the 4th Edition of the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson, I think more likely 1987-1988 for shipping date of your revolver.

Most likely 1987, since that was the last full year of the 10-8 production.
