Default Model 19-2

My BIL passed away a couple of years ago and my SIL has enlisted me to help sell his guns. One is a Model 19-2, Serial # 8K7762 with a 2.5" barrel. It's in very good shape, guessing 90% maybe higher. Any information or possible value would be appreciated!

An 8K serial prefix would likely be a 19-3.

I bought this one a couple years back at a gun show. I was able to get it so cheaply that I was almost ashamed of myself!

$425 out the door.

I would say a minimum of $600 for yours. If I were selling it, I'd probably start at $700.

What Jack said! I paid $800 last year for one that was stone mint and was glad to get it even with no box. The M19 snub is just such a great looking gun. The M66 snub, not so much. I've been passing on 66's all year. They just don't do anything for me. The 19 I saw and bought was the only one I saw out last year.
