Default 19-3

Been out of the Smith market for quite a while.
Picked this up recently.
Late 60 early 70. K946***
Grips 1986 if I remember correctly.
She's no safe queen by no means.
Thought I'd share.

19-3? A four inch 19 with speed loader targets is a classic set up.

Good find. I had a 19-2/6" back in the late '70s, and traded it for a 66-2/4", which I kept until about 12 years ago and sold in a fit of stupidity. Been looking for a replacement almost ever since. Finally ran upon a 19-3 a little over a year ago at a LGS, on consignment. It looked like a safe queen, but you could tell it had been shot quite a bit. Has a nice action job, both target trigger and hammer (wide spur). Came with the original box and the large target grips. I put a nice set of custom grips on it to better fit my medium size hand, bought a nice leather holster for it, and shoot it often.

Joe -
Your PM box is FULL.

My apologies to the OP - for the thread interruption. Really NICE M19, BTW...

Nice score, I have a 19-3 with 4" ship date of 1971 in about the exact same condition. Nothing wrong with a little honest wear on a working gun!
