Is this a fair price? 14-4 pinned
Hey guys I'm still learning a lot about S&W revolvers. I have my eye on a 14-4 6" pinned. He wants $575 but i think I can get it down a little lower. Advice on the price? Fair? Good deal? Here is a photo...

Go for it. That's a fair price on one of the best shooting revolvers you will ever buy.

Fair to me means one may trade or sell a little higher or lower in the near future. So I think it's fair.

The last Model 14 I bought was back in the mid 1990s, and I paid about $350 for a 1957 4 screw. Honestly, I haven't followed the prices recently, but considering that they don't make them like they use to, and it doesn't have the Infernal Lock, I think that is a fair price.
Remember, with a steady diet of 148gr wadcutters, and your grandkids will still be shooting it without a problem.

Try to get the price down. (always) It seems a little high. I base this on me buying a -3 in August of 14, for $410 shipped. They are great shooters. Let us know how you make out! Bob

Model 14's are my favorites and that looks like a clean one. If that is close to new condition and has the box, paperwork and tools it's not a bad price. If it's just the gun I think the price is high. If it's as clean as it looks in the pic I might go as high as $500 if I really wanted a 14. To me anything under $500 what be a good deal.
Good luck!

I would be on it for $550. Go for it. A m14 has been on my short list for a while.
