Hello everyone...My trusty model 66-2 has developed a problem of the cylinder not rotating occasionally when trigger is depressed. Can anyone here point me in the direction of a reputable 'smith in the Houston Texas area? Thanks in advance!

Send it to Frank Glenn in Arizona. Try to use an FFL so you can take advantage of cheaper USPS shipping, as long as the FFL won't charge you a fee. Mine will ship for free, just cost.

I would consult the Jerry K. S&W shop manual and fix it myself, but not everyone is me.

I've never had any work done by him, but as I recall, the articles I've read about him were very favorable. By the way, I also remember some people calling him ill-tempered, but my experience with gunsmiths has been that most don't have much patience for those that won't listen - YMMV.

Teddy did work on my 642 and 6906. I was very satisfied. He is just west of you, just give him a call and he will be glad to talk to you and will let you know if he can fix it. He is still working, I just talked to him 2 months ago.
