I believe it is a factory nickel, it will have an "N" on the back of the cylinder, and on the frame. Bob

Default n stamp

the N stamp is not present on the cylinder nor the frame , I do not own the gun as why I am asking, I am told it is original finish,, only markings I see is 10200, I thought maybe its a refinish back in oct 2000, im fairly new to this so , reason for asking about markings

If a 69 era gun, you should see the "N" stamped on the back of the cylinder and the frame. Without the N, or at least a R-N stamp, I'd be leery of it. As has been said, pictures always help, but in this case probably no real need of them.

Are the hammer, trigger, and ejector star nickel plated? If so its not a factory finish.

As the old saw goes, "believe the gun not the story about the gun."

A capital N should be on the right side of the grip frame, as well as on the rear of the cylinder as M29since14 has said.

Are the trigger and hammer Nickeled? Or are the casehardened/blued?

They should be case hardened/blued. That is the first thing to check.

Default Trigger and hammer

Trigger and hammer are case hardened and the ejector star is blued/black. So hence my dilema, roll stamps look crisp and gun seems to have some wear, .. I have seen a few nickel guns from the 60s and 70s that didn't have the N stamp and they were original or at least I was told it was . Thanks guys for your response . .
