Default My 14-1 Finally got some new shoes...

I bought this gun nearly 1 1/2 years ago. The original owner had cut the left stock down, I assume to easier use a speed loader. Took me this long to find a really nice set of relieved diamond targets for a very reasonable price. The "new" targets are as close to new as possible. One tiny scratch about 1/16" is the only flaw I could find. The points on the checkering are all very sharp, showing no wear whatsoever. I am one happy camper to get my 14 all prettied up.

Here's the old butchered stock panel:

Here are the "new" ones:

Oh yeah, I paid $70 for the stocks. I think they are Goncalo Alves, but I'm not sure. If someone can positively identify the wood, I would appreciate it.

Thumbs up

Very nice set of GA at a great price too.
They compliment the revolver very nicely.

If you wanted the stocks to pop a little more.
On that set I think it would be quite a bit more.
a coat of wax would do that.
