Default Revolver needs ID

I just bought a LE trade in and want to know a bit about it, and whether it can handle +P ammo.

Model 10-10
Serial number BDF 6851
Blued with a 4 inch barrel. Approx.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum.

Yes, your Model10-10 will handle all of the .38 special +P that you want to buy & shoot.

Do a search for Model 10 threads. You will have a LOT to read.

Welcome! Prefix BDF is likely from March 1989. Any model 10 stamped as such is good for SAAMI spec +P .38, not much higher pressure than standard Specials.

This is the search result from "model 10-10 information" here on the Forum:

Enjoy!

Welcome to the FORUM! You CAN shoot +P, but for range use, regular ammo will be cheaper. It is whatever you want though. Bob
