Smile need value on 1979 M36

I/ve been offered for sale a 1979 Model 36 with a
Nickel finish, unfired. If indeed it is unfired, what would be a
fair price? Thanks.:

I saw a blued unfired one today for $525. No box. I paid $550 for a LNIB 3in today. Maybe I paid to much. Don't know but it is clean and I'm happy with it.

Smile M36, 2"bbl., nickel finish, unfired

Thanks for your input on the blue NIB @ $525 and the LNIB you bought for $550- both sound like fair prices. What is your location? I'm from the metro-Detroit area and the M36 unfired
1979 gun in Nickel finish @ $1100 advertised here sounds very
much too high. I appreciate your input. Thanks.

$1100 is astronomically high. Unless that nickel finish is factory and rare a 2in barrel m36 is no where near that price. Around here they go for $350 -$ 400 without a box. We are talking about the standard 2 in barrel. 3 inch are more money and harder to find.

Welcome! To me, $1100 for a nickel standard model 36 is in the "I'm not serious about selling" or "try to talk me down to $750" price range. $500-550 would be average in the current market.

Go Navy!

Knoxville. I'd buy one off gunbroker if I were you at those prices.
