My new (to me) 27-2 3.5"
I was able to take advantage of the nice weather today and get some pictures of one of my favorites.
I had been chasing a P&R model 27 that was both affordable and acceptable for more than a year when I lucked into this one. It's a dash two circa 1972 and came to me with the original serial numbered magna grips. The targets it has on are from ebay and are a very near perfect fit. I'm kinda proud of this one

So cool!!! I still want a 27 myself. Do have a 28 no dash, 6" though. Probably will never part with it. Enjoy your 27! Bob

Very nice looking 27 you got there!
I just went to the range with my 3 1/2", 5" and 6 1/2" 27s today. Ran around 200 rounds through them messing around. It's fun bringing a few to the range with different barrel lengths to feel the difference in the way they respond in recoil compared to each other. The 3 1/2" is definitely snappier, but still doesn't beat you up with hotter rounds.

That's a good price if it is in good shape.

Honestly, Point 357, I do not believe that S&W ever made a better looking revolver than that one.

I don't know, man I have two M19s and a M66, all with 2.5" barrels and to me they are just as sexy. But then, I'm a guy who likes the snubbies.

Very nice!!! Although I know red inserts in the front sight were available to order from the factory, I can't remember ever seeing one with the insert here in central Illinois for sale?

Great gun! For pure sex appeal in the S&W lineup, I think nothing much else compares with a great condition P&R Model 27 with the 3.5" barrel! Here's my 27-2, which I treasure.
