K38 Pinto (non-factory) with 8 3/8 inch barrel and red post front sight.
I love me a Pinto gun so I have made a couple over the last few years for myself. Thought I would share my latest project. The gun started out as a regular old K38 14-4 with a 6 inch barrel all blue. To be honest, the project actually started out by acquiring the barrel from e-bay a few months ago for what I thought was a deal. I was then able to find the 14-4 at a gun shop upstate with the full target treatment for a great price as well. It was then sent off to a local gunsmith that had to do a bit of machining to get the barrel squared up and the NOS cylinder with untouched extractor star to fit as it should. This is the end result with a pair of Kurac birds eye maple magnas. Still waiting for it to warm up a bit before we see how she shoots.

The nickel barrel pin and cylinder release latch are nice touches. I love the balance and sight radius of the 8 3/8" K target series. It looks great!

Very Cool! Did the barrel come with the red post or did your gunsmith add it? I bet it makes aiming an ease!
