Questions on 28-2
I have a 28-2 6", serial # N2136XX. I would like to know the approx. manuf. date, and if the diamond magma grips should be numbered to the revolver. Thank you.

Your gun probably shipped in 1974 to 1975, so it wouldn't have shipped with diamond magnas. The diamond was eliminated around 1968.

Thanks for the response. The gun has nice shape diamonds on it as purchased. Anybody have a pair of non diamond magnas for sale? Please PM Me if you do. Thanks, Ken

Ken, make sure you specify that they are for an N-Frame. The diamond magnas are valuable and sought after in their own right.

If you can not find them on the Forum classifieds, try ebay. Be patient, something nice & reasonable should show up. Good luck with your hunt! Bob
