Default front sights: red on blue OR black on blue

I am fortunate to have a few of my favorite S&W revolvers in beautiful blue from the 1960's thru 1980's.

Some have the black FS and some have the RR insert FS.

Love 'em all but I have a slight visual preference for the aesthetics of the black FS over the RR insert.

IMO the black FS blends in to the overall aesthetics and doesn't distract from the timeless design of these beautiful Smiths, whereas the RR insert FS commands attention (as intended from a functional standpoint) and almost distracts my eye from the overall beauty of the lines.

I've never made a purchase decision because of the FS and never sought out one variant over the other because of it. Probably never will.

I might even change my mind tomorrow as to which i prefer.

and if you don't like any of yours because of this, feel free to send as many of either type my way as you want

Anyone here have a strong visual preference for the aesthetics of the black FS or the RR FS on their blue guns? (photos encouraged)

here are some side by side barrel shots showing both (my apologies for the poor lighting) and a couple of shots of what i think are two of the most gorgeous Smiths ever made, the 27-2 in 3.5 inch barrel (black FS) and the 24-3 with 3 inch barrel (RR FS)

In my neck of the woods, the red ramp and white outline were always highly desireable. I still like the look, although I no longer retrofit new acquisitions if they don't have it. I think maybe half of my current stable have inserts.
