S&W snub nose family
My loose collection includes only snubs, J and K frame variants.
K frames
Mod 66-3 with Craig Spegel grips. This one went to Desert Storm with me before I knew not to do that.
Mod 15-4 that reminds me of the M56 the Air Force once issued me. This one does stir a little passion for those early days in my career.
Mod 10 that is my favorite of all the snubbys. I can't bring myself to mount the NIB Tyler T grip because it's new in box and perfect. I know, put it on the gun and save the box.
J Frames
Model 640 with Eagle boot grips.
My father's Model 60
And finally my grandfather's old top break.
Disappointingly that's all. I guess we are an S&W family!

It's a fine family. If you hang around here long enough your family will grow. I will share some of my children with you.
Two questions/comments:
1. What does this mean:

What did they do to you?
2. I love Tyler Ts - go ahead!!!

Here are a few of mine. One of these days, I will break them all out for some sunshine and take a photo of the whole lot.
Can anyone identify all five of these?

When I was a lot younger, I carried my K-22 Masterpiece during lots of desert storms. What's the problem?
Of course, I didn't take any personal firearms with me to 'Nam. I almost did, but decided they would be safer at my dad's house and the guv'mint would supply me with what I needed. All of mine were still intact when I got back two years later . . .

@ISCS Yoda, nobody ever knew. As aircrew we often carried concealed so it went with me, stayed with my gear, and came back. The rules are much more strict and enforced now, no personal weapons allowed.

Wasn't there a K Frame Snubby dedicated thread somewhere back in time? I think we need one since there seems to be a lot of interest lately.

Thanks for sharing. Your dad's Md 60 looks perfect! I've become a huge K frame snub fan in recent years. I think my favorite is the Md 64. However, if we are speaking only about looks and what appeals to my eyes, then it's the 2 inch, Md 15. There's just something about a S&W snub with a square butt that really appeals to me.

SpectrePilot, what a nice collection of classic Smith and Wesson revolvers.

Why would you not do that? Your protection is what it was made for. I am glad that both you and your model 66 made it back Ok.
