My copy of SCSW is packed away right now, but I would put the ship date somewhere in the early '60s by WAG. Somebody will come along with better info soon, I'm sure. I'm not "into" nickel, but with that little cutie I could make an exception to my rule. What kind of stocks and grip adaptor are those? Is that real ivory, and is there any indication it is factory? Sure does look pretty from where I'm sitting!

Most likely late 1962 to early 1963.

According to the SCSW 4th Edition it's interesting to note that the 30-1 is said to have begun in 1961 at around serial number 712954.

My Model 30 (no dash) is sn 677758, and

My Model 31 (no dash) is sn 689371.

Both presumed to be from 1958.
