Always wanted one..so I put one together. Wide Target hammer, wide Target trigger and a vintage set of Jay Scott oversize Target Magna zebra grips. Fits my monster size hand like a well seasoned glove.Wilson spring kit. 3lb single action release, 9lb DA. Smooth as silk. This ones a keeper.

Can you use speed loaders with those grips or is that not an issue?

Yes..the LH stock is not as thick at the top (as the RH) and speed loaders clear easily.
I just went out back and put a few cylinders of ammo though this, and I could not be happier with the control and natural point this revolver has. I can easily thumb the hammer as well. Pretty thrilled. This really does fit me perfectly. Matter of fact,I just ordered another set of these stocks. I have a K frame project brewing in .357....

Nice gun. And from that one shot, I'd say you do have some serious mitts on you.

As much as I love my J frames..the K is my favorite for shooting .38 Specials. This one will carry pretty easy in a small holster.Cool weather carry.

Great looking snubby! I am a huge fan of the 10 Snubbies.
Those grips really are hand filling huh?

I must say, it is a neat little K frame! You forgot target sights though. I really enjoy my 10-5 RB snub. It is a good little shooter! Bob

I love Model 10s. Tricking one out solely as a target gun sounds like fun. I have target Hogue's on a snubby Ruger Security Six and the danged thing is super accurate. Not very easy to conceal but I have plenty of other snubs so I don't worry about carrying that Ruger. My EDC is generally a K frame snub.

The neat thing about the Jay Scott grips is they would have been period correct replacements for a 60s revolver. I like them as they are well made, fit great, and have a dull oil finish.

Fill your hand? Bold words from a one eyed fat man. True Grit. The full quote won't pass the squeamish/prudish filter here. But I still like it and think of it whenever someone suggest "fill your hand"
