Things have been pretty slim at my favorite LGS. The used guns section is especially bare. However I did happen to find these gems in the used case in the last two months. M29-2, M60 no dash, M15-2, and a M17-6. I got really good deals on all of them, I believe. The best deal was the M60 at $217.00 OTD. The M29-2 at $650.00+ tx, the M15-2 at $320.00+ tx, and the M17-6 $475.00+ tx. The M15-2 spent a lot of time in a holster, a true working gun. The M29-2 has some papers and tools but not complete. I'm a happy fella! Here are a few pics.

Don't let the police know you stole these guns.
That is unbelievable.

Yea, well the M60 has a chip out of the grip! Don't suppose you'd like to make a hundred? You did very well.

The price you paid for the Model 60 is $21 less than I paid for a really rusty Baby Chiefs Special.
Holey Cow, you did great. Congrats.

That's more decent S&W wheelguns in a few months, in one shop, than I see in my town in 3 or 4 years! You are a lucky dog!

Looks like you will be well equipped if you decide to continue your crime spree. I hope your LGS opens a branch near me soon!

Nothing like an LGS that enables the addiction to start. I had my favorite one too, til I ran the well dry

I do have an advantage with this shop. I've been buying Smith & Wesson's from them for about twelve years. Sometimes I just happen to walk into the shop at the right time with money in my pocket. The M29-2 for instance, I was buying a .32 FN Browning Model 1922 with German markings and Fred called to get the bottom line price on it. After a minute or so I got the price on the M1922 I was happy with and then, while still on the phone, Fred asked If I was interested in M29-2, 6.5 inch, that had just come in on a trade, for $650.00. Does a duck float? The price was right and I snagged it. What a great shop and a bunch of great guys working it! They seem to know me better than I do!

I had to check to make sure this isn't a zombie thread from 10 years ago. I fell into that trap just recently.
Very good prices indeed. If that's what you get when pickings "have been pretty slim" at a store, I would love to see how it is in times of green grass and high cotton!

It's good to be back. I've been pretty busy lately being deemed "essential personnel". We are an hour or so out of Seattle and with all the "protesting" going on there, the folks are coming here to buy guns. This is due to Seattle's "reasonable" tax on firearms and ammunition. The used guns case normally would be overflowing with Glocks, M&P's, and SIGs. Now if there are five or six various guns in the case you're lucky.
