Model 29-2 4" nickel
Doc44 posted a picture of a gorgeous M29-2 that reminded me of one I have that has been in the back of the safe for far too long and needed to see some daylight.
This one came to me from a forum member who expressed concern about the condition of the gun. His concern, it seems, was that it was way too nice to shoot. After exchanging some PM's we agreed on a sale price with my promise to shoot it for him. When it arrived I realized his concerns. It really is that nice. The irony here... I fulfilled my promise, firing exactly one round through it and it was sweet.
It is complete with a beautiful presentation case as well. What a great package!
I'd love to have a matching bright blue companion for it if anyone...???

Here is my lone 29-2 blued 4 inch model. It is not nearly as nice as your nickle one but it is well loved here and the best part is no worries about shooting it.

That is a beauty...Glad to see that you have gone against the popular grain and decided to preserve it.Hard to find them in perfect condition these days.

I done did! Like I said, I put one full house magnum round through it.
My biggest problem is that there is or are no places to leagally shoot where I live. I am not able to just step out into my back yard to light these things off.
I am, however, making retirement plans that include enough land for a 500 yard range.

With the serial number N745XXX according to the SCSW 4th edition it is no doubt a 1980 model.
