The current 67-6, introduced in 2004 and still listed on the factory website.

Model 67 | Smith & Wesson

None. 67 hasn't gone that route yet.

Isn't the internet great? Ask a question and you will get conflicting answers.
I vote with Murphydog. Because the "Standard Book" says so.

I'm going to have to vote with "none of the above" just to be on the safe side (there may actually be a 67-6 out there for all I know). My recently purchased Model 67 is a 67-5 NOT a 67-6 and the SKU Number on the box is 162802. On the upper right side of the label it lists "162802A 67-5"

To be on the safe side, when I ordered this gun through my local gun store I had him verify that it had a one piece barrel before accepting the transfer from the supplier.

I don't have and have never handled one, but the photo on the factory website shows the multi-piece barrel. Perhaps SKU 162802 as listed on the site has this, and the "A" indicates the older barrel?

That may be the case. I agree the photo appears to show a two piece barrel. If so, there are still 67-5s in the pipeline. It's worth your while to do like I did and specify a one piece barrel when you have one ordered through your dealer.

But I actually WANT a 2-piece barrel. Why? Well, in my experience...I said MY experience...my 2-piece barrels have been lights-out accurate, for whatever reason.

O.K. Easy to specify that when you place an order just like I did. Best of luck! Personally, I was bound and determined to find one with the one piece barrel, I guess it's just the way I'm used to seeing them.

My 67-6 has the two-piece barrel and it is accurate. However, It's no more accurate than my 1952 Pre-15 Combat Masterpiece (it's difficult to match old style Smith & Wesson quality). Since I have gotten the Model 67, I've put thousands of wadcutters down the tube, and the only problem I had was when new, it had an under sized firing pin causing light primer strikes. I replaced same with a Power Custom version, and the only problem I've had since is that it gets dirty when I shoot it. I use the Model 67 as a purely dedicated revolver, but I'm a really big fan of all K-frames. If I wanted a carry K-frame, I'd use my Model 64. The Model 67 is a fine revolver that is serving its purpose very well and I couldn't be any happier...........

I don't know what I'm missing but when I click on Model 67 | Smith & Wesson it looks like a one piece barrel to me.

Can some one explain what I'm missing in that photo

The two-piece barrel is not like the new 66/69; the newer 67s have a small rounded cap at the muzzle over the "sleave."
