What models came from factory with combat grips?
I love the combat grips and I also prefer to buy "factory original". What are some model numbers and perhaps year of production? I'd like to be able to refine my search. Thanks in advance!

The models 24-3 3", 624 3", 629-1 3", 657 3" (1983-85), and 610 no-dash immediately come to mind, and there were some K-frames like the 16-4 and the 14 with a full lug barrel. J-frames include the 631 and 632. There are quite a few others, I am sure.

Many of these guns lost their original combats as the values of the Combats exceeded $200. I have seen many, and bought one at a gun show to later buy a set of $200 combats to put back on the gun. My 4" M617-0 came with combats at a very high price. I bought a M617-0 6" with target hammer and target trigger N.I.B that someone had taken the combats off and replaced them with period Goncalo Alves target stocks. Paid $575 for it. Took the rubber stocks off my M617-2 and replaced them with a set of custom Rosewood stocks from Hogue. I hate rubber stocks. Big Larry

You didn't really put a Kel Tec in that picture with those fine revolvers did you?

That's the $50 truck gun. I take it to the range occasionally to, just in case.
It goes bang every time.
