There were 69 guns all together. They started with the S&W's first. I got the 10 They sold a 17 for 650. 44 hand ejector went 775. But all after I was out of cash.

You got a good deal, but the 25 would have been my 1st choice! I have never found guns at an estate, or garage sale. Congrats! Bob

One of the problems with auctions is that you have no idea what anything is going to sell for. If you don't jump on a good deal early you could get stuck in a bidding war later. Like the saying goes a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.

Additionally he couldn't have got the 25 for $450. The next bid would probably been $500 and there's no guarantee the other bidder would have stopped there.

That certainly would have been true if I or another 45 or S&W fan had been there.

What the others said. You can't buy them all. If you had decided to forego bidding on the M10-8 to focus on the M25, you would have been shut out completely.

Yep, plus there's usually auction fever in the crowd... and I imagine most have suffered from it at least a time or two. No telling how much that 25 (and other desirable models) might have end up costing.

Nice M10 with just the right amount of character. Slap a grip adapter on it and enjoy!
