I have the possibility to buy a S&W model 27
It is a magnum 357
Serial number : BFS6862
Can anyone help me with the birth of this revolver.
It is in perfect condition

Just guessing between 1990 and 1991... the closest I could narrow it down to in the SCSW was between BFF from August of 1990 to BFW from January of 1991. What dash number is it?

It's probably a 1991 27-5 gun, going off of one I own. I have a 6 1/2" barrel 27-5 that was shipped late 1990 that has a serial of BFM52xx.

I do not have the gun in my possession. I cab check it next week and revert.
