Thursday I hit the range with some old guns.the two silver guns are my friends a 65 and a nickel 19. mine are the 4inch 29 with s&w holster under it. a 1951 Colt DS ,a 6inch 57, a 8 3/8 27. and a 12-44 inland non import marked carbine.
very nice .we shoot at 8inch steel plates starting at left 20yds then right one 25yds back then the middle one about 30 yds.we load 5 rds in the guns. we can ping them almost every time. we shoot left right center then back left and right.that way we are moving the gun and shooting.
here is how we set it up you see the plates in the back. we shoot free hand but that day I had to sight in the model 19 that's why the bag and the cardboard with rows of targets on it..and more of my S&Ws. from bottom model 15, then model 13, then model 27 with 1961 colt cobra, then nickel model 19,top 1953 colt cobra.
