highest "S" serial number and highest diamond magnas
Was wondering what the highest known "S" serial numbered N frame revolver is. I have seen S331921 on the ship date request list for a 27-2. If you have a higher number and want to share, please do.
Also, the highest known set of diamond magna stocks.
And any "S" serial numbered matching stocks without diamond centers.
Post'em if you got'em.

This is the best I can do. Model 58 that checks in at S331185. Thanks to all who said to shoot it. I do and really enjoy it.

This is the latest diamond magnas I have in my accumulation. I am sure it is not even close to the end date of these stocks.
The Model 10-6 is probably from around 1965. Note the red highlighted serial number on the frame butt. Supposedly, the Mobile, AL SWAT used this on all their firearms. I have left it the way I acquired it. The revolver was a police trade-in from the Mobile, AL law enforcement.

Per Roy's book on the History of Smith & Wesson, the highest serial number with an S prefix is 333454. I have no idea what model it is, but since N1 is a Highway Patrolman, it is quite possible S333454 is also.

thanks Bill. That pretty well nails it. Met a guy at the gunshow who professed to have S 350xxx and I thought at the time that was too high. I would not have guessed as high as 333xxx either.
