Default Sold it and missed it too much... She is home.

I sold this gun about a year ago and I am a bit ashamed that I regretted selling it enough that I went and bought it back.

1975 Model 36-1 Factory Target NIB... (w/ Jinks letter)

I see nothing to be ashamed of. It is easy to forget what our other budget considerations were when we sold the guns we reminisce about. You are fortunate that the buyer would sell it back at a time when you could afford it.

During the 1980s I bought my .223 Remington Model 788 back twice. While it had no collector appeal it had no peers among budget .223 bolt actions.

I recently bought back a Colt Cobra that I traded away last year. This time it's staying.

Sounds to me like she's back where she belongs!

Hope you don't make that "mistake" again.

Lessons learned. I traded off three handguns to my LGS. I replaced two so far. I can't bring myself to replace the Python I traded in.
Never sell anything.

I traded in a '85 monti Carlo s/s in mint orginal condition. Back in '97. Look at what there going for now. Stupid, dumb me.

Yep. Did the same with my Model 581. Got it back about 5 years later. Think the guy keep it in a tool box or something. Had to bring it back to it's former condition. It is here to stay now!

Proud to say that the only smith I've sold was a 329pd. And I don't regret it. The only one I miss is my flat top super Blackhawk. Those are the only ones I've sold. Darker days past. Great to hear you got it back.

Years ago, I had a Colt Officers Model Heavy Barrel in .38 Special that a buddy of mine kept trying to buy. In a weak moment I relented and sold it to him and immediately regretted it. Have tried for years to buy it back but can't get it done. Those are really nice revolvers.
