Factory engraved 44 Magnums
44 Magnums (Model 29-2), factory engraved by Robert (Bob) Burt. Top gun: S/N S300197, shipped July 13th, 1970 and features Class "C" engraving. The custom smooth Walnut stocks are by Culina LLC. Lower gun: S/N S316524, shipped April 9th, 1970 and features class "A" engraving.

Mr. Burt only worked two years for Smith & Wesson from 1968 - 1970 before being hired on by Colt for their engraving department. I have not seen many Smith & Wessons engraved by him either. This is probably just due to his short tenure with the firm.
