I have recently purchased a 38 S&W Special 10-5 with a 4" barrel. The serial number is D763875. Does anyone have a manufacture date for this gun?

Welcome to the FORUM! I have a 10-5 from 1974. It is a 2" though. It has heavily altered stocks I crafted. I enjoy shooting it! We would all like to see pictures of your 10! Bob
