For markers: 32230 shipped in January, 1958. But 31692 shipped in June, 1958. They did not ship in serial order, so yours is probably 1958 or even 1959, but you aren't likely to find out without getting a letter from Roy.

One question: does it have MOD 34 stamped on the frame in the yoke cut? The two mentioned above do not. I think your serial number is close to the time they started marking the model on the frame.

BTW yours is an I frame revolver, in case you were wondering.

Edit: I'm assuming you have a Kit Gun (2" or 4" barrel). If it has a 6" barrel, it is a .22/32 Target, and the model number (if it has one) will be 35.

I have serial number 30148. This gun was lettered. It shipped April 10, 1958. It's a pre model 34.
