Yep, that's what one looks like alright. I can't believe it sold for more than the Python though. You know how those crazy Colt Snake guys are.

Wow, didn't think it would go for that much. I would imagine there was all kinds of collectors bidding on that one including people that may not even own a Smith & Wesson.

If I won power ball I would have bought both, the Smith and the Colt.

I have several $195,000 S&Ws.
Trouble is, no one else agrees or has been willing to pay.

I had a chance to buy it 3 years ago. It was priced at $125,000.
I just did not think it was worth that much. I still have copies of all the paper work

What does a $195,000 19-2 look like? It looks like the gun your dealer threw in when you bought your new loaded Jaguar. Actually, the engraving on that gun looks recently done. Maybe I'll get an expert engraver I have access to work over my mint M19 snub. I'm sure he could duplicate the pictured gun for around $5000. Gold does add to the cost of the project. Sounds like a money maker to me. I should add that Elvis ownership doesn't add a thing for me. . .just never cared much for him.
