Default Smith 19-4
I have a Smith and Wesson 19-4 with a 2 1/2" barrel. Has anyone ever seen one with a GREEN front sight? I welcome any information on this one. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum.

Over the years, I have installed red, orange, yellow, white and yes, green sight inserts. Often I used a piece of toothbrush handle.

I never saw that before with green. It does not matter. It should do the job as intended. I have painted the front sight lime green on numerous guns. I used to use hot pink, but someone made fun of me. I am 64, and never owned a nickel gun. The right opportunity has not come along. Bob

Bownells sells a kit to replace/repair the front sight insert and one of the colors in the kit is green.
