Model 29 Presentation box
I have been looking for my presentation case for the last 15 years in my house and my mothers, I have given up. My md 29 serial number S206498 is incomplete without it so i decided to buy one off of ebay and believe it is the correct one and is in great shape, i know my box will surface since i purchased one and if it does i can sell the latest one. Tell me what you think

I take it that you have a 29 with a 6 or 6 1/2" barrel, right? Because that is what that case looks like it will fit to me. And it looks like you will need to do soem repair work on the inside to fix up the cracks too.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the gun should face (barrel ) left.. The inserts in your box need to be swapped from top to bottom???
Just my take, I just checked mine and your inserts are reversed...
JMHO..nice box tho...

I wouldn't mind having some presentation cases for the N frames I own that don't have them. But that's a pretty steep price to outfit them with them though.

You don't need to switch the inserts, just turn the case 180 degrees and it will be correct (revolver pointing to the left, accessories in slots below it).

I received the case today and i don't think you can get much better, it does not have any cracks to fix and is atleast 92%. My box did not come with a screwdriver and i have two that will work one is 3 3/8" and the other is 3 1/16", which would be the right one, also, should the mop have a brass center or steel
Thanks

The mop should have a threaded brass base. The sight screwdriver you need has a fluted aluminum handle and a regular flat tip (not the hollow ground tip that was introduced in 1964).

The bottom insert has finger reliefs around the tools, the top has none! The bottom of the case has the latch that folds down to unlatch the case.
