Default I told myself that I wouldn't post this.....

....until I had the correct stocks for it. Well, I found a set and they are on the way. So, it'll just be a good reason ( er...EXCUSE) to post more pics when they get here toward the end of the week.

It is a round butt Model 34 from around 1977 in the M94xxx serial number range. I didn't know Pachmyer made Presentation grips this large for round butt J frame.

I found it , as usual at my favorite LGS. It was part of the last "property room" that for whatever reason they held off on putting up for sale. I got it for $375. It has ,without question , the smoothest DA & SA trigger I have ever felt on a S&W.

This lot of seized guns has yielded a nickle 36, a 58 , a a 48 (which I got for $50 because it had a fall--- probably out a car window at high speed! My'smith is a retired machinist. He's bringing it back to life.) , and these two.

Part of the deal was that I take this Iver Johnson .32 also. (Awwww.... they twisted my arm...NOT!) It was marked @ $19.95. It is a Second Model from 1895.

Best,
Charles

Charles, you're an amazing guy.

Congrats on these, especially the 34.

That's a very nice Model 34. For me the little factory Magnas are too small in every dimension. J frames need material over the back strap to fit me.

Is that a smart phone behind it?

I also got new grips for my Model 34. The pachs were too big and too ugly. Love the new Altamonts.

Let me know when you run out of room for all those revolvers. I may have to meet you at the States' line and store a few for you.

They actually are made to fit a J frame! I've never seen that exact configuration.

Charles,

The transformation with the Altamont's is amazing. Just let me know when you get tired of looking at her. I can e-mail you a current copy of the FFL. Kindest regards, hardcase60

Unfortunately, the Altamonts aren't on mine. Mine had the Pachmayers when I bought it and now wears these:

Best,
Charles
