Default questions about a SW 34-1

Gentlemen,
I am the owner of a SW 34-1, 2" barrel, serial number M 1818XX. This is an excellent little gun and my favorite snub-nose in 22 LR.
Q1 : Does anybody have an idea when this one was produced?
Q2 : the screw of the rear adjustable sight is broken and cannot be removed. Does anybody has the reference of the sight assembly that can replace the old one?
Thanks in advance.

They aren't. I found them at my gunsmith's, to replace the Pachmayr grips (from the previous owner).

As for the rear sight, I'd call Smith customer service and see if they can repair it. They'll email you a shipping label and it shouldn't cost too much.

Which rear sight screw? Windage, elevation or the tiny one that holds the front of the sight body down?

Kinda going off his name and location, I'm figuring Paris is not in Texas. Joe

Absolutely, I am living in the outskirts of the other Paris, In France . but here also we are great fans of SW (local police is equipped with SW64A). and for my little problem, I finally ordered a Sight Assembly (Brownells) and it fits well.
