Default Model 30-1

What would be a fair price for a Model 30-1 in nickel finish in excellent condition? Round butt with original grips. Thanks!

I swapped a Taurus 82 for this one in 2008; had $150.00 in the Taurus. It would probably cost me $450.00 or more to replace it now.

I put $450.00 into this S&W 31-2 three years ago on a trade. That wouldn't buy one now.

I would think anything around $500.00 for a nice one, even without box and paperwork, would be reasonable now-a-days. Might even be a steal in some markets. The nickel on the ejector rods wears easily, look your prospect over carefully. Light surface rust can be polished off but may return shortly. Look at the knurled end of the rod, it may contain traces of polish.

I paid extra for that rock, as they have also been discontinued.
