Default S&W M-34-1

Ran up on a nice M-34-1 this afternoon. In good mechanical condition Spots of bluing loss..Say about a 92% gun. Does not have original stocks. But I have a couple sets of J frame Targets so no big deal on the stocks. Has TT and TH I guess. They are larger profile like the K frames would be. Fellow wants 575 but I know I could get it for 500..maybe 475 if I work hard at it. What say y'all?? Worth 500 or a little less. Don't REALLY need it as I have a real nice pre 18 5 screw. But Well y'all know how it is!!

Put it this way. I sold two M34-1's last year. The first was a shooter grade in blue with slight muzzle and cylinder blue loss. No box, papers and the grips had been replaced with Pachmayr's. It brought $650 after starting at $700.

Second was an NIB Nickel with all accessories and papers. It went away for $950.

If you can get a shooter grade for $500 or less jump on it, QUICK.

I called him and made a quick offer of 475...and he said he'd accept that.... so I am good to go. Guess I have to buy it. Another fellow offered me a Rem 700 BDL Varmint with a Boyds T hole extra stock 10 boxes of ammo and a Buckmaster 6-18X wants 600 for it.. Like I need another 223

Forgot to ad. I got a really nice set of K frame magnas for 20 bucks. They have the dark escutcheons on the back. When did they go to the silver escutcheons?? Wish they had been N frames. I need a set for my nice 58.
