Finally have three Model 19's
Well it only took five years, but I got my Model 19 w/4" barrel today completing my collection giving me a 2.5", 4" and a 6" The 4' and the 6" are 19-3 and the 2.5" is a 19-4. All three are pinned and recessed. I'm happy.Apologies for the photo quality. I was in a hurry and evidently there was some spots on the lens.

I added a couple photos. I'm not a gifted photographer, but they should give you an idea.

What are you missing?
The model 19 had a few special models. It took me decades to find this french RS overrun. The same fixed sight model 19 was made for the German market with a four inch barrel.
I got the other ones when nobody else gave revolvers a second look and their prices were around $200 to $250.

Very nice trio of the 3 common barrel lengths...... but what does "completing" the collection mean ? ... Besides the fixed site variant there was a small amount of 3" and a 5" guns made....then you can focus on finding all the revisions, then boxes, ...then nickel guns, then Stainless steel 66's ...oh no... it Never ends

As you said this is the three common versions. I'm already thinking about what it will take to get a 3" model. As you said it never ends. It's a type of insanity, but in a good way.

Thanks everybody. Yes I do take them to the range now and then. Normally they wear Goodyears, but I put on the wood grips for photo ops. Of course those are just the three common or mass produced versions. There is also the 3" barrel versions as well as a few that were made for the French government and the Texas Commemorative and so on. And yes there are then the versions of the Model 66 as well. Collecting is a type of insanity, but I'm happy.

Good luck on the 3" version (IIRC small run in the mid 70s) and the 3" fixed sighted version ( mostly exported)..... at most there are only a couple hundred of each of those..........
I've settled for 2 1/2 and 4 inch 19s and 2 1/2, 3 and 4 inch 66s.......I'm thinking 10 total........ the 6 inch never appealed to me. If I want a 6 inch then I tend to go with .357 and a 586 or 686 ..... go figure.

Nice collection..........so far. What about nickel. I think you need some more guns to complete your collection! Don't you like when other people try to spend your money?

Still working on my 19 and 66 collections. In the 19s, I only have a 6" 19-1, so I still need a 2 1/2" and a 4". In my 66s, I have a 3" 66-2 and a 4" 66-2 (my old duty weapon), so I need a 2 1/2" 66 and a 6" 66. The shame is that I had a 2 1/2" 66, but I let my daughter's husband have it. I also had a 4" 19 that I let get away several years ago. Oh well, I'll just keep searching. Problem is, here in the Peoples' Republic of Kalifornia, I'm going to have to find them in-state as none are on the DOJ approved list and I can't import them for that reason.
