LNIB 58 value help
Need a little help on a blued Model 58 no dash in the box. All the paperwork is there. Box is very clean and does match the gun. Gun is almost perfect. May or may not have been shot. There is a faint cylinder ring and it is obvious that the cylinder has been turned. Outside and grips are perfect. Blue Book is way off. What say you?

I have seen several sell for north of a grand. Is this an original run 58, or the re-introduction of the 'Classic' line?

Hello Mr. Hoov, are you a dealer or just hot for a 41Mag? I agree, a darn nice gun to shoot. Had several. What do you want to spend?

I do not need anymore calibers! LOL! I am a dealer selling it for a friend, but not through the store. If that makes any sense...

I would never put the full serial number out there, I'll post some pics later. I am selling it for a friend, just not through the store.

Did not ask for a full Sn. Partial Sn. is quite acceptable. OK, just an S or N prefix?

There are very few remaining unfired 58's in the world today.

...a few weeks ago on GunBroker an unfired in the box blue went for right at $2K. Don't remember if it was a S or a N prefix... That was one of the higher prices I've seen paid for a 58...
Usually ANIB will bring $12-1700 depending on the day...

At least $1000.
That is the starting point.
I had an oppty a few years ago to buy one that was absolutely perfect. It may have been shot but there was not a nick on it.
The hang tag was $1000, they said I could get it for $800.
I vascilated back and forth because it was too perfect, and I was afraid to shoot it. A fellow forum member bought it, but I don't think he shot it either.
