Default FHP 27-2

Hey does anyone have a value range on the 27-2 nickel 5" FHP'S? Found some older threads but I just inherited one and I'm curious.

Welcome to the Forum.
Saw one sell here in Mobile a few years back for $750 wearing pachmayr grips.
Pictures would be helpful.

There are so few of them that I have never seen one for sale. Value to collectors depends on condition. I would expect that since you inherited it, it is priceless. If its is in average or so condition, for insurance purposes, maybe $1200 to $1500. In excellent condition, with original box, maybe $2000 or so.

Perhaps there will be a response from someone more knowledgeable about these nice 27s.

I bought one not too long ago for $775 and traded it for about the same value, maybe a little more. They don't care a huge premium, maybe 10 - 15% over any other well used nickel 5" 27-2.
