Default Model 49 for $299

Circumstances allowed me to stop at TWO pawn stores today while out with my wife. My short list includes Model's 15, 19, 27, 28, with some runner up's. Darned if someone didn't have a Bodyguard with a $299 asking price. Downside was it looked as if it had been carried "forever" / put away wet as there was specs of surface rust everywhere. But it didn't look like it'd been shot much. Minimal blueing wear, even turn line was faint.

It was minutes from the store closing, the handguns were all on a cart headed for the safe room and my wife was in the car out in the parking lot. I walked. But now I'm rethinking it. Wondering what a tube of Flitz might do for the finish and I'd LOVE to have that as a EDC to rotate with my 442. $299 was asking price. If only all my problems were this good.
