Default Question on M36 no dash

I picked up a model 36 with no dash. Serial # dates it 1963. It is a nickel gun, however it has brass trigger, hammer and cylinder release. I know S&W made a few of these in a special run. Anyone ever seen these, is it factory, if not factory does it hurt or help the price?

Thanks

The hammer, trigger and thumbpiece will be Gold plated, not brass. This absolutely was not factory and while not terribly common is not unusual. Some people think it fancies the gun up.

Yeah. And some of us think it makes it into a pimp gun!
