25-2 new to me
Well, I hit a gun show on sunday and stumbled on a 1955 25-2. Pinned barrel 3 screw, blue in great shape. Someone upgraded front sight to fiber and it appears to be shot very little. I had to buy it to go along with my 625. Ill get some better pics up for you guys.

That's a nice looking gun even with the front sight mod.

Looks like a patch sewn onto the case....don't think cordura nylon was invented yet. I do however like what was done though.

Pretty sure case is aftermarket. Patch may not be though.

Well I got it out to the range. Man it shoots great! I dont think it was shot since the fiber was installed, as it was hitting way low. I had to move the rear sight way up. It shoots very tight groups. I stretched it out to 100 yds and was hitting a 24" steel plate from a rest pretty easily. Boy was that fun.

One of my favorite revolvers. Fine "bright blue" Smith finish and very accurate. The case is not "factory" but it is cool.
