Default Independence Day Celebration

Hi guys! For the first time in my 63 years I celebrated Independence Day and our Second Amendment freedom by purchasing a 14-3 Masterpiece with 8 3/8' pinned barrel, target hammer, target stocks, target trigger & what I guess is a target front sight. It is 98-99%. I need to know the shipping date. SN is 5K55248. Thank all of you in advance.

1973.
5K serial numbers in 1973 ran from 5K6617 to 5K73962.
That's manufacture. Shipping could have been later, but 1973 would be a good guess.

If it looks like the one shown in the picture below, it is. These are called the Patridge sight (not "partridge") and they were standard on the K-38 Masterpiece for many years, including the Model 14-3.

JP@AK, that's an 8 3/8" barrel. That was my typo , thanks for pointing that out. And thanks for the info on the shipping date.
