I can't tell you the blade height - I'm sure somebody will be along with that info. Before you do anything drastic, as far as the cylinder, check to see if the ejector rod has backed-off. Remember, it is reverse threaded. If it is loose, insert some empty cases in the cylinder before tightening and do NOT use any thread locking compound.

Addendum: Just did a little search on here and from what I found it looks like your front sight blade height should be .300". The blade you buy will have a blank tang and will have to be drilled for installation. Do not attempt to drill it all the way through from one side. Use the existing holes in the base as a guide and drill from each side.
