Default My New Model 64-2 2" RB

I picked up a shooter grade Model 64-2 with 2" Tapered Barrel and Round Butt yesterday. This is the first one of these I've seen in a while. I was glad to find it.

Didn't know about tapered barrel in this model, had one and thought barrel looked kinda skimpy!

Default 66-2 Tapered

Like the 15, 2", little disappointed with 64 I bought but sold, wouldn't have if I'd known about heavy barrel.

Sweet score! There's nothing like model 10 or 64 snub!

I picked up a nice 2" 64-2 back in February. It shoots great, better than I expected from a 2". No trouble hitting bowling pins at 25 yards with mine. The 64's are terrific revolvers.

Certainly a good looking example! You should enjoy shooting it! I have a 10-5, RB. It is no beauty queen, but sure fun to shoot. Bob

They are/were Herrett square butt target. They were reshaped, and all checkering removed. Normally use Tru-Oil. These were done with Minwax, gloss clear spray lacquer. Bob

Not the best picture lighting, but it looks VERY VERY GOOD for "shooter Grade" - at least from here! Enjoy it!

My 64 has the smoothest DA of ALL my S&W revolvers ! The feel and balance in my hand is perfect. My younger brother carried the M10 2" rb as a Wash. D.C. "MPDC" Detective for many years before he got "Glocked". I always liked the heft and feel of his duty gun. The stocks on mine are weathered elk antler. I hope you enjoy your M64 as much as I do mine.

The grips on your Model 64 are beautiful!
