N Frame Screwdriver Value
I came across these today and I have two. I don't have a presentation box and I really have no need for these screwdrivers. So I guess I'll be listing these for sale shortly.
My question is the value. I looked on eBay and I see these selling anywhere from $20-66. Hard for me to believe these would sell for $66, but they did. What is a reasonable price for me to ask for these on the forum?
Thanks for any insight.

I ran across several on eBay for $25. The more expensive ones are knurled handle aluminum and the most expensive are the knurled handle steel.
Adios,

I've never noticed any difference between the postwar SAT (screwdrivers) shipped with N frames vs. K frames. Is there any difference?
And I agree with ken158. This is by far the most common variety of these small screwdrivers. I must own a dozen of them, some of which came with guns I bought new in the 1970s and 1980s.

I doubt there are any differences. I said N Frame because most of the eBay auctions stated that. I would assume these were shipped with any presentation box gun, whether they were K or N Frame.

Same for a K-N frame. That is the most widely used and most recently used into the 1980s. They are $20-25 each these days. The ones that look just like them but have a longer tapered blade run $80-100 each as they were only used for a few years. There are a few variations of the knurled aluminum/steel ones from pre/post war time frame and are generally $80-150 based on type and condition. A pre-war small SAT for Kit guns and Reg Mags can be $600+

Okay. Thanks. That makes sense, I just thought there was something I didn't know. Those I have came with both K and N frames and I never noticed any difference.

It had nothing to do with the presentation case. Any K or N frame gun with adjustable sights came with the SAT. Lots and lots of them shipped in the blue boxes, grey boxes and gold boxes.

I agree with Hoosier45, the fluted aluminum handled SAT's with the tapered blade as opposed to the ones with the hollow ground tips like the OP's are getting harder to find and consequently are being bid up above $50 regularly on ebay.

I believe the correct terminology is "sight adjusting tools"?

S&W referred to these accessories as sight screwdrivers.
