Default Model 14-3 joins the family

Just got him via USPS and my FFL today. Put 20 rounds downrange and it is a good shooter.

1969 Model 14-3 with target stocks. 6" barrel. Will be a buddy to my 1951 K-38.

A nice pair, TG.

I've owned more than a dozen K-38 Masterpiece revolvers over the years (and still own most of them). All of them have been great shooting irons.

Congratulations! I am sure you will be happy with another! I bought a 14-3, almost 3 years ago. Just obtained a 17-2 to keep it company. Have not made it to the range yet. Bob

This was the issued weapon of the LAPD, as seen in the early episodes of Adam-12. We carried the Model 15 in my agency.

One of favorite guns. I have owned more than one of them. I bought one online that had a very nice set of diamond target grips on it. I removed the grips to check for rust and discovered the frame had been cut for fuzzy farrant grips. This was not mentioned in the description so I traded it away.

Here are some additional shots.

Stocks are numbered but not to the gun. They have a three digit alpha serial number stamped on them; a different s/n on each stock.
