I just bought these grips trying to get the correct grips for my 29-2. Grips came in today and dangit.....I believe they are for a K/L frame revolver. Look at the picture and see the back strap sticking up past the grips. This can not be N frame grips.....correct?

You've hit the nail on the head! Sure looks like it to me.
These are the same fitment of the grips that came OFF the gun, and they were K/L frame grips. Oh well, back to square one. Now I have to get my money back.
